Get Paid Android Apps for Free Simply and Safely

On March 22nd, 2011 Amazon released their AppStore to the world. Through which they are currently offering a free application daily which can be purchased and added to your applications and then later downloaded to your Android device.Amazon’s app store is going to be a good competitor against the Android Marketplace, especially with the free daily apps, but I don’t think it’s going to ever replace it.   In order to install apps you purchase you need to first download and install Amazon’s App Installer application.  This is a relatively simple 8-step process which I didn’t have any problem completing.

While you don’t have a choice of what apps you want to get for free you can always just buy the daily free app and never download it to your device if you don’t want to use it.  All the apps that have showed up so far are normally paid apps that you have to pay real money before you can use them.

One important thing to note is that you’ll have to have a valid Amazon account and will have to set up 1-click purchasing information for your account if you haven’t already.  This will require valid billing address information and a valid credit card number.  Now if you aren’t comfortable with entering in your credit card information or want to prevent yourself from accidentally buying paid apps you can always use a test credit card number.

There is no telling how long Amazon will continue this, but if you are looking to get some Free Apps for your Android device(s) that you’ll be able to download to your phone at any time then this is the way to go.

You can visit Amazon’s Appstore* Here.

Finally, It needs to be noted that it is spelled Appstore with no space in between the two words.  This is because Apple is in the process of trademarking the term “App Store”.  Don’t know if Amazon thought they were being clever or what, either way they have been issued a cease and desist from Apple in regards to using the name.
