I’ve been using Facebook since June 2007 and while I was by no means an early adopter it is still a far different animal now than it was nearly 6 years ago. When I joined it was a much better way to keep in touch with my friends than that of it’s only real rival at the time, MySpace. Now I’ve decided to delete the Facebook application off of my phone and am reducing my interactions on Facebook to be purely professional. Continue reading »
As most owners of the HTC Hero I suffer from battery life issues. My phone spends a good portion of it’s day on a charger. Either my charger at home plugged into a wall outlet or at my desk at work charging via a USB cable. Continue reading »
If you watch TV you’ve no doubt seen the iDon’t commercials. Now these are by far not the first commercials to openly dis on Apple. We can all remember Microsoft’s laptop hunter commercials and then there was the more subtle ‘there’s a map for that’ commercials. I am a Sprint user, it’s not because I think their network is better than everyone else it’s because up until last October my cousin worked for Sprint. Because of the fact that she worked for Sprint I was able to get onto her employee plan which was a really sweet deal that could not be beat. I am still on a similar plan, discounted because I know a Sprint employee, but unlike the plan I was on it’s no longer dependent on employment. It’s also more expensive, although cheaper than comparative plans from other companies, and when I get a new phone I’ll be locked into a 2 year contract, so my next phone choice needs to be a careful one.
